Play idea: Swimming lab with Stapelstein®
Thinking ability and Experimenting
Anleitung
The Stapelstein® elements are placed in a row with the open side facing up and filled with water. The participating children look for small things from their immediate surroundings, such as a button, coin, shoelace, spoon, wood, etc., and test which of them sink to the bottom of the element (i.e., go under) and which do not.

Quiz
Before you start your experiment, everyone else may give a guess as to whether the object will sink or not. Whoever guesses correctly receives a point.
Assign colors
Before the experiment starts, you choose the element that matches the color of the object, for example, "lemon" for yellow.
Saltwater
You fill an element with saltwater. Do the objects float or sink in this element the same way as in the elements filled with pure water?
