Play idea: Dance, Stapelstein®! with Stapelstein®
mindfulness, self-regulation, and listening
Anleitung
Each participating child receives a Stapelstein® element. On a command, all children make their elements dance by placing them on the floor with the open side up and giving them a spin. All children are very quiet and try to see and hear which element finishes its dance first and which finishes last.
Varianten
dash
While your elements are dancing, the game leader calls out a color, for example, red. You then try to quickly dash around a red element without touching it and return to your own element. Are your elements still dancing when you return?
eyes closed
While your elements are dancing, you have your eyes closed and try to hear when the last element stops moving. Do you think you hear that the Stapelstein® element has stopped moving? Then give the game leader a signal that you agreed upon beforehand.
point to it
While your elements are dancing, you have your eyes closed. Now try to point with both hands to the element that is moving last.
never stop
First, you give your element a push. Then you make your way across the room in a zigzag. The goal is for the elements to never stop dancing. If a child notices while crossing the room that an element is slowing down, they give it a push to give it new momentum and continue. How long can you all manage to keep all the elements dancing together?
race against time
Use "feel time" in the app for this. Before you let the elements dance, tap the screen for any length of time. When you release, let the Stapelstein® elements dance. Do they spin longer than the specified time?
