Play idea: Sock Monster with Stapelstein®
Differentiation and Eye-hand coordination
Anleitung
The Stapelstein® elements are scattered around the room with the open side facing up. A sock is half-filled with newspaper. Those who like can give it eyes using sewn-on buttons. This way, each participating child gets their own "sock monster." The children try to hit the elements with their sock monsters by throwing them accurately.
Varianten
Sock variety
All socks are stuffed with newspaper. One sock has more paper, another has less. This causes them to fly differently, requiring more or less effort when throwing.
Scoring
Each color of the elements is assigned a score. Depending on which element the sock monster lands in, different points are scored and tallied. The game can also be played well in teams or as a competition.
High up
A child takes an element and holds it above their head with the open side up. All other children try to hit the high element with the sock monster and thereby receive double points.
Moving Stapelstein® target
If you are practiced "sock monster throwers," the targets can also move slowly. Whoever carries an element over their head begins to slowly walk through the room. All others try to hit their sock monsters into the element.
Sock Monster Contest
Which of you or which team manages to score the most hits with the sock monsters within one minute?
